Dr. Henry Gremillion recently joined The Dawson Academy as Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs. Dr. Gremillion’s extensive background in diagnosing and treating orofacial pain made him a natural choice to help The Dawson Academy in its quest to provide the dental profession with scientifically relevant information and training.
“We are honored and thrilled to have a physician like Dr. Gremillion, who understands the role that masticatory health plays in overall health, join The Dawson Academy,” explained Dr. Peter E. Dawson, founder and Director of The Dawson Academy.
“Dentistry is the only medical specialty with full responsibility of the head and neck, and thus the associated conditions that can develop in this region,” Dr. Dawson continued. “Dr. Gremillion’s extensive background in dentistry will allow us the opportunity to provide our students with a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of head, neck, orofacial pain, and sleep disorders in patients.”
As a result of Dr. Gremillion’s addition to The Dawson Academy, the organization is proud to announce the creation of a new Dental Medicine Track, which will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of orofacial pain.
